The Nkoranza Municipal Assembly convened its First Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Assembly on Thursday 24th July, 2025, at the Municipal Assembly Hall. The meeting brought together key stakeholders including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Presiding Member, all Hon. Assembly Members, and Heads of Departments within the Assembly.
Proceedings commenced with opening remarks from the Presiding Member, setting the tone for a fruitful and engaging session. This was followed by the reading and adoption of the minutes from the previous meeting.
The highlight of the session was the Sessional Address delivered by Hon. MCE, in his address, the MCE touched on key developmental activities, challenges facing the Municipality, and plans for the upcoming quarters. The address spurred an active discussion among members, who raised pertinent issues and contributed constructive suggestions.
Further on the agenda was a review of matters arising from the previous minutes, ensuring that unresolved issues were given due attention. The Assembly also received and deliberated on the Executive Committee’s Report, outlining key recommendations and resolutions for development and administration.
The meeting concluded with closing remarks from both the Presiding Member and the MCE, who commended members for their commitment and called for continuous collaboration in addressing the needs of the Municipality.
