The May Day for this year was held at the Sunyani Jubilee Park. Workers in the Bono East region, Bono region and Ahafo region all came together to celebrate the May Day at Sunyani Jubilee house at Sunyani which is been organized by the Organized Labour Division of the Ghana Trades Union Congress.
The Occasion was held at Sunyani because of a decision taken to rotate the Celebration of May Day in the regional capitals, which made this year’s own occurred at Sunyani. The theme for this year’s May Day is ELECTION 2024: “THE ROLE OF WORKERS AND SOCIAL PARTNERS IN SECURING PEACEFUL ELECTIONS FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”.
