COMMISSION OF AN ICT LAB AT THE NKORANZA METHODIST BASIC SCHOOL AS PART OF GIFEC’S CYBER-LABS PROGRAMME

On Tuesday, 19th April, 2022, The Minister for Communications and Digitization, Hon. Ursula Owusu together with the Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan and MCE for Nkoranza South, Hon. Daniel Owuredu commissioned the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Lab at the Nkoranza Methodist School as part of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications  (GIFEC)Cyber-lab programme.

This program represents the most comprehensive and extensive component of GIFEC’s strategic approach to Information and Communication Technology (ICT), development etc.

The purpose of this program is to facilitate efforts and support full-service internet connectivity, services, and facilities to designated unserved and underserved communities in Ghana, delivering broadband access that is available to all potential users within each local service area.

Hon. Ursula Owusu told the student that, we are now in the information age therefore there is a need to and adapt one’s self to it. She told the students to learn well so that they can become future leaders.

The Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan, MCE for Nkoranza South, Hon. Daniel Owuredu and the students thanked the Minister for Communications and Digitization, Hon. Ursula Owusu for the Cyber-lab and promised to make her proud.
