The Assemblyman for A –line electoral area in the Nkoranza South Municipality of the Bono East Region Hon. Appiah Daniel has emerge as the presiding member elect. The first election took placed on Wednesday 16th June, 2021. During the first election Hon. Agyei Daniel secured twenty-nine votes of which he was notable to emerge victorious whiles his contender Hon. Agyei Siakwan also had 13 votes with one rejected vote but they were disagreement which didn’t make it a success. Therefore, they have to be another date for the re-election.
The re-election was fixed on 25th June, 2021 at the Assembly Hall. This time around, Hon. Agyei Siakwan gave up for Hon Agyei Daniel and with the yes or no balloting, Hon. Daniel Agyei was able to secured 36 votes whiles 7 members voted for No.
The EC declared him as the winner at the end of the election. Delivering his victory speech, Hon. Agyei Daniel thanked all the Assembly members for accepting him and promised to work with all of them for the betterment of the Nkoranza Municipality.
