UNFPA works with a cross section of critical implementing partners (IP) and sub-implementing partners (sub-IP) across the public and private sectors to fulfill its mandate and to build their knowledge and capacities to respond to the unmet needs in family planning, improved maternal health and zero sexual and gender-based violence.
As the Implementing Partner of the GOG/UNFPA Seventh Country Programme in the Bono Region, the Regional Coordinating Council (BERCC) is organizing an inception meeting on it 2021 Annual Work plan. This meeting will bring together the IP focal person and all sub-IPs focal persons within the Bono East Region to seek inputs and feedback on the Work Plan and implementation schedule. Considering BERCC as a new IP and the new and existing Sub-IPs, the inception meeting will present an avenue to orient, review and socialise participants with UNFPA reporting systems/templates as well as brainstorm ways towards a successful implementation of 2021 activities.
The aim of the inception meeting is to review and receive inputs to clarify the 2021 Annual Work Plan (CP7) of the Bono Regional Coordinating Council and its sub implementers. Other related issues like procurement and the basic of working with UNFPA and the basics of the IP agreement would be discussed.
