MAY DAY CELEBRATION CEREMONY AT THE NKORANZA SOUTH MUNICIPALITY.
The Celebration of the May Day for the 2023 was held at the Nkoranza South Municipality in the Bono East Region. The various unions came in their numbers to grace the occasion at the Nkoranza Children Park in the Nkoranza Municipality.
The theme for 2023 Brong Ahafo Regional May Day was Protecting Incomes and Pensions in an era of economic crises; our responsibility.
The Bono East Regional Minister Hon. Kwasi Adu Gyan in his speech called on all labour unions to unite with the government in moving this country forward in the right direction.
He again called on all Ghanaian working population on how to consume our local food stuffs so that we can grow as a nation and peruse the industrialization agenda there by creating more jobs for the teaming youth. He made all these known during the May Day celebration which was held in Nkoranza south municipality of the Bono East region.
On the part of the Bono regional minister Hon. Justina Owusu Banahene who took the opportunity to call on all the labour unions to work with commitment the love and the affection because without all these attributes at our various work places labour unions can argue for all forms of terms and conditions. Many expenses can be cut off but without these strong factors being considered among the labour force the country Ghana cannot develop as expected
Madam Comfort Asuama who is the Bono East Regional Secretary for TUC in her speech advised all the labour unions to unite with the government to move this country forward and also said that the government is doing everything in its power to support the various unions in the country.
Finally, Various awards were given to outstanding and hardworking staffs of the various working unions across the Country.
