MCE for Nkoranza South, Hon. Daniel Owuredu has today inspected road projects to kick-start within his municipality from February 3, 2022.
The project will see the construction of (0.36km) Breman Road, (0.19km) Nkoranza Health Center Link, (0.5km) Nation Builders Road, (0.95km) Guakro Road, (0.4km) Children Park Road, (0.25) Children Park Link, LNM Street among others.
The Contractor, M/S Jiangxi Jhongmei Company Ltd, is expected to complete in total, a 5km of road and some drainage by the year 2023.
The roads, when completed will improve access to healthcare as a result of the A-Line (Alternative) Link to the St. Theresah Hospital.
Hon. Owuredu also mentioned that, the project will further reduce road traffic during the Nkoranza market day on Tuesdays, boost economic activities of farmers, drivers and market women, and protect the health of the good people of Nkoranza from dust related infections.
Mr. Owuredu visited the sites with the Municipal Urban Road Engineer, Mr. Gabriel Tetteh, Presiding Member for Nkoranza South, Hon. Appiah Daniel and some media personalities.
He has further assured that together with all relevant stakeholders, he will continue to push investment into the critical aspects of the local economy of his people to improve their lives.
