MCE FOR NKORANZA SOUTH VISITS DRIVERS’ UNIONS IN NKORANZA MUNICIPALITY.
On Friday 25th February 2023, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Owuredu visited the Nkoranza Driver’s unions in the municipality. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce himself officially to the association and meet with the Executives of the GPRTU and PROTOA to know the various issues and challenges facing the association and how best to deal with it. The meeting started around 8:45am in the morning.
The Executive and members of the association expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the MCE for taking off some time of his busy schedule to visit them. They took that opportunity to voice out their problems and issues affecting them as an association. They told the Municipal Chief Executive that the roads in the municipality is not all that good and therefore pleads with the MCE to do something about it for them.
They also pleaded with the MCE to talk to the President of Ghana H.E. Nana Akuffo Addo to do something about the price of fuel because it is affecting them badly. They also pleaded with the MCE in terms of Security since they are drivers and robbers usually worry them.
The MCE assured the Association that, he will try his best to make sure all their request and issues raised will be looked into. He pleaded with the association and members of the association to give their full support to the government. The meeting ended around 11:13am
