Natives of Nkoranza North and South who are living abroad has donated PPE’S to 38 health facilities in both Nkoranza North and South respectively to combat covid-19. The items were presented on July, 2020. According to Mr. Sam Kwasi Danso, leader of the association who on the behalf of his members presented the PPE’s to Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly.
The items donated includes 38 Veronica Buckets 1320 boxes of hand sanitizers, 100 boxes of hand gloves, 152 boxes of nose mask and five thermometer guns. After the donation Mr. Sam Kwasi Danso advised all natives both abroad and home to join the Association in order to uplift the image of Nkoranza Township.
Aftermath, Municipal Chief Executive of Nkoranza South Hon. Diana Attaa Kusiwaa, who received the items on behalf of the Assembly commended the Association for action taken, she further stated that, the Association need much praises, because few months ago, the Association presented beds to St. Theresa’s hospital. She expressed her profound gratitude to them and fully assured that the items will be given to the all the health facilities within the Nkoranza Municipal and the North Districts.
