The Municipal Chief Executive for the Nkoranza South municipality, Hon. Daniel Owuredu on the 24th May, 2023 inspected a toilet facility at the Akuma senior high school in the municipality. The inspection was done by the MCE together with some officials from the Nkoranza Municipal assembly including the Municipal Engineer for the assembly. The purpose of the toilet facility is to beef up the school’s infrastructure system.
The Municipal chief executive was happy with the work done and also assured the school that the government of Ghana has education at his heart and are trying to do more for the education sector such as dormitories and school buildings. The MCE said that, providing quality education for our children remains a number one priority to us, hence, the reason we have achieved this milestone.
The Hon. MCE also assured the school that more of this project will be implemented as times goes on. He pleaded with the teachers and school authorities to take proper care of the facility in order to make sure it lasts long time for the school. He said this facility will help students have a sound and peace mind when learning because a proper facility makes learning smoother. He assures them government plan to undertake more project like this to make it easy to access social facilities in schools.
The keys to the facility were then presented to the Municipal Chief Executive of the Nkoranza South Municipality, Hon. Daniel Owuredu. The MCE thanked the constructor for the wonderful job done in completing the project.
