The Nkoranza South Municipal Office of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in collaboration National Commission for Civic Education has undertaking sensitization in four schools within the Municipality on effects of Drug abuse and teenage pregnancy between 13th May and 20th May 2026. The schools are; Nations Builder, Effah Presby, Kwebis Educational Complex and Akumsa Domase Methodist B Primary Schools.
The teachers and pupils were sensitized on the negative effects of Drug abuse, causes and effects of teenage pregnancy and reporting channels for social protection issues and abuse of rights of children. The management of the schools were happy and called for more engagements to promote behavioural changes among school children.
