The National Coordinator for the District Road Improvement Program (DRIP), Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuije came to Nkoranza South as he paid a working visit to the municipality. He was warmly received at the Municipal Assembly. He had some discussions with the Municipal Chief Executive which centered on how best the DRIP equipment could be utilized for the ultimate benefit of the Municipality. The National Coordinator who was accompanied by the Regional DRIP Coordinator, Hon. Sulemana Abubakr took time to meet operators of the equipment and also inspected the equipment. The Municipal Chief Executive also promised to ensure the Municipal DRIP Coordinator, Mr. Paul Agomina gets the needed support to function effectively. Present at the meeting were the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Presiding Member, Municipal Roads Engineer, Municipal Finance Officer and the Vice Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress.
