On 13th May, 2025 the District Level Elections (DLEs) ended up peacefully, in the Nkoranza South District of the Bono East Region on Tuesday, the Electoral Commission (EC) has said. According to Mr. Anthony Manu, the Nkoranza South Municipal Returning Officer of EC said the District Level Election was conducted in 29 electoral areas which was made up of 162 Polling Stations within the voting period.
However, Mr. Manu added that the conduct of the unit committee elections was withheld in six electoral areas comprising of 41 PSs.On 13th May, 2025 the District Level Elections (DLEs) ended up peacefully, in the Nkoranza South District of the Bono East Region on Tuesday, the Electoral Commission (EC) has said. The Electoral Commission of the Nkoranza South Municipal on his speech said the EC is well prepared for today’s election, adding that all the required materials for the elections had been received by the municipal. Moreover, he explained or said a total number of 94 candidates, made up of 92 males and 2 females are contesting and 191 males and 18 females were also contesting in the unit committee level.
Mr. Manu expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all the stakeholders including the electorate for their support and cooperation throughout the voting period.
